300 MILE CHARITY MARATHON AT CLANFIELD SLOT CIRCUIT

Cars raced around the Bolwextric track all day on Sunday, 21st of February, held in aid of
Smile 4 Rich.

It was nine till nine racing as 4 brand new cars were taken out of their boxes and “run in” for a grand total of 12,210 laps of the magnificent Bolwextric indoor circuit.

The challenge was held in support of the Fluorescence Enhanced Neurosurgery Appeal and 4 teams took up controllers, they were:
• PITSTOP PANSIES • NUMPTY • RAS RACING • OUTLAWS •

When the 12 hours were up it was TEAM NUMPTY that took top honours, they won with most laps and the least penalties, with a lap average of 12.37 seconds. The Numpties also set the fastest lap of the day, 11.46 seconds.
Most number of laps per 55 minute session was set by Tony in the last stint with his car failing he managed 277 laps, that’s a 12 second lap average. See more.

Manor Farm Raceway

The Bolwextric indoor HQ, in Clanfield, Hampshire features a massive 130 foot 6 lane Scalextric style circuit, with a total running distance of over 800 feet, available for parties and corporate entertainment. This superb venue also hosts The Bolwextric Champions, MFR, No Name Racing clubs and Clanfield slot cars. Public "arrive n' drive" sessions run as advertised.
